My name is James Ronald May. I started researching my family history early in 1998, and was fortunate that my grandfather, Sidney Steward May, had written many articles, and collected much of the family history on the May side, that is presented here. My uncle, William James Cusack May, continued this work. My cousin, Eva Yobb, had obtained this material after grandfather May, and my uncle Cussie, had passed away. I visited Eva in Langenburg, Saskatchewan, in the summer of 1999. In May of 2000, Gary May of Lowestoft, Suffolk, England contacted me, and added much to the information. The May Family History Site was thus born from the hard work of many family members, and I thank them all.
